The Moray Coast U3A is the local branch of the University of the
Third Age(U3A) for retired/semi-retired people living in the coastal
area between Banff and Elgin. Formed in November 2011 the Moray
Coast U3A already has several active interest groups that meet on a
regular basis and hope to add more as our membership grows. Go to
Groups page to learn more.
The Third Age Trust is the national representative body for the Universities of Third Age in the UK. U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.
Go to U3A for the National website. Our Monthly meeting is currently held at the McBoyle Hall in Portknockie. There is normally a guest speaker and tea/coffee and biscuits. Come along and see us, you can be sure of a warm welcome.
